Our Story

I am a lifelong lover of nature with a green thumb, loving to watch nature grow into beautiful plants from seeds or cutting. It has been a lifelong passion for me to own and run a plant nursery. From our postage stamp back yard in South Florida bursting at the seams with seeds and cuttings, this legal assistant from South Florida (originally a farm girl from Michigan) decided to step out of the legal mold and work with my family to create The Garden Spot of the Sunshine State. Part of my inspiration was my certified butterfly garden in South Florida for Monarch butterflies that I will integrate into the nursery. I look forward to providing our services to the community with beautiful plants that are loved from our nursery.
